HOW TO KEEP YOUR HAIR HEALTHY

Introduction:-

In order to keep your hair healthy, you must first understand the hair’s structure. Hair is made-up of keratin, a hard protein that is also found in nails and skin. The hair shaft is composed of three layers: the cuticle, the cortex, and the medulla.

The cuticle: is the outer layer of the hair shaft and is made up of overlapping scales.

The cortex: is the middle layer of the hair shaft and is responsible for its color and texture.

The medulla: is the innermost layer of hair and is composed of unorganized cells.

There are many things that people can do to keep their hair healthy. Some of these things are:

  • * The best way to keep your hair healthy is to use the right products .Wash your hair regularly with shampoo and conditioner. Don’t over-wash it. Hair can become dry and brittle if you wash it too often. Dry your hair after washing in the ambient temperature of your room after using an absorbent towel to soak up the excess moisture, but don’t rub hard. Prevent unnecessary hair damage by using the right kind of hairbrush. Only comb wet hair with a wide-tooth comb, combing from root to end, but avoiding touching the root. Detangling wet hair with a hard steel comb can create a lot of damage. The average person washes their hair between 1 and 3 times a week. Depending on your hair type, lifestyle and how often you work out, you might need to wash it more or less frequently than that. But over-washing your hair can strip it of its natural oils, leading to dryness, frizziness, and breakage. So how do you know when it’s time to wash your hair. Brush your hair regularly, especially before bed.
